Powertech offers a full range of technical training in power system analysis and the application of the DSAToolsTM software. Training can be provided at a client’s site, or at Powertech offices. Topics offered include,

  • Power system theory
  • Equipment performance and modeling
  • Power system stability and control - theory and methods of analysis
  • Study procedures
    - Voltage stability
    - Reactive power planning
    - Impact studies for IPP integration
    - Integration of wind generators
    - Small signal stability and control system tuning

Scheduled DSAToolsTM Software Training

Each of the following two-day courses are scheduled to be held at Powertech Offices in Vancouver, Canada. Please note that registration closes two weeks prior to the course delivery date.

Course Fees

$CDN 1,600 per person for each course
$CDN 2,850 per person for any two courses in the same Session
$CDN 3,800 per person for any three courses in the same Session
   Plus GST where applicable

Cancellation Policy

Course registrations may be cancelled as follows,

  • More than 4 weeks prior to course: full refund
  • Within 4 weeks prior to course: $200 administration fee applies
  • Within 1 week prior to course: no refund

Should it be necessary, for any reason, for Powertech to cancel the training course, you will be notified no later than one month prior to the course and refunded your registration fees in full. Powertech can not be held responsible for any other costs you may incur due to cancellation
